FISHING
The rivers Grosne, Guye and Grison cross our region.
The River Grosne has all types of fish and fishing.
Several 100 kilometers long with several rapids, the Grosne has its source about 800m high in the granite forest of the high Beaujolais (Departement of the Rhone).
The first few kilometers of the river flow are characterised by a lively flow and cold water. There under the roots, behind the blocks and at the tail of the current hides the fario trout. In the middle of the calm and deep stretches of the river there is carp, barbel, chub, gudgeon and bleak. Under the water lilies and in the depths of the river bed pikes, carp et roach are the masters of the place.
The river Guye has all types of fish and fishing.
41 km in length, the River Guye has its source 335m high in the commune of St-Hélène. It flows from the north to the south and changes direction above Salornay-sur-Guye to flow northwards to join the Grosne at Messeugne.
