The Crémaillère : a place of artistic wonders 

Since 2004, 11 artists have set themselves up in the Crémaillère a real treasure trove for their creations. The fonding members of this  association, called “Métiers d'art au pluriel”, are experienced professional artists. Their concern is to allow visitors to the area to share their passion

Each year 3 of the artists give up their place to a new artist so as to help new artists get public recognition.
This year the 3 new artists are :
BERNADETTE DUCERF, a ceramist from Mercurey who makes blue pieces in the stoneware of Saint-Amand en Puisaye. She uses “home-made” materials including ash.Cobalt gives the pieces their blue colour and an enamel rich with iron gives a sombre colour of brown/black.
ESTELLE SOTTY, upholsterer and interior decorator based in Le Creusot, who undertakes a quality restoration of your chairs as well as advising on a whole range of items for decoration (mirrors, cushions, screens ...).
RENEE LAPALUS and her remarkable hats

JOELLE SAMPAIX, works with leather to make it softer to use.
LYDIE SAVINAS and SYLVIE BAILLY, in very different ranges work with material (cloth) 
RACHEL SCHLUMBERGER  offers jewellry for men and women plus animal sculptures from recouperated metal.
EMMANUEL COURTOIS, french polisher from Bonnay, exhibits polished furniture with some being decorated in other ways using for example, leather, paper, painting on wood etc..
MARIE MILER, potter from Chevagny-sur-Guye, works with warm colours and decorations engraved on everyday pottery items
MYRIAM LACOLONGE, based at Chapaize, calls her studio : "émergence de bijoux ». With talent she creates all type of jewels  from resins.
CHRISTOPHE LABONDE, links his passion for old or blank books with, among others, marbled paper created at the paper-making studio of La Sachette by CLAIRE GUILLOT

Opening hours in April-May-September-October-November : 10 am to 12 am & 3 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, Friday & Saturday,
10 am to 12 am Sunday morning
Opening hours June-July-August-December : 10 am to 12 am & 3 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 10 am to 12 am Sunday morning
